BLAKE CARRINGTON'S “A DYNASTY AFFAIR” TO KICK OFF NEW ALBUM RELEASE "BE A MAN"
B.T.L. Music LLC and JQ Productions, presents A Dynasty Affair, Friday, May 6th, 2011, 8:30pm at Stone 7 Creek. This event will debut Best Male R&B Underground NYC and International Music Awards Nominee, Blake Carrington’s highly anticipated album “Be A Man;” with Red Carpet arrival from 8:30-10:30pm, and live streaming; kicking off and celebrating Carrington’s New Album Release.
Taking an introspective look on his personal values, ethics, and contributions, the evening will deliver classic R&B performances of Carrington’s hits such as “My Dear,” “Nobody Else,” and the title track “Be A Man;” culminating with the video premiere of his new single “Wish You Well.”
Carrington’s ability to fuse soul and substance has led to opening acts with artists such as Ne-Yo, Akon, Ludacris, Keyshia Cole, and Ciara. He has also been featured on Funk Master Flex’s Certified-gold Vol. II Mixed Tape (Loud Records), Michelob Freestyle, and tracks from Pharoahe Monch, AG Andre the Giant, Greg Nice / Smooth B, Large Professor, Camp Lo, Genard Parker, Jesse West, and DJ Premier. Carrington also completed production on in-house projects with notable producers Darren Lighty and Eddie F, Kenny Smoove, Lord Finesse, Sean (158) Devereaux, Houston B., Diamond D (of DITC) and DJ Kid Capri—with whom he toured in 2005 and 2006.
In recent years, Carrington has also established a huge following in Europe at the famed Dijon Dance Festival in Dijon, France with DJ Icy-E from Germany, and in London and Spain with hip-hop artists Wu Tang Clan, Big Daddy Kane, and CL Smooth.
